Before you
start

I built an Instagram account to 63,000 followers and sold £28,000 of digital products through it, all while I was 15 years old, without ever posting my face or my voice. No talking heads, no vlogs, no "hey guys". Just graphics, screen recordings and text on screen.

The niche was a mobile football game called Madfut. That part doesn't matter, the machine underneath it does, and the machine works the same whether you're posting football cards, car edits, study tips or fishing knots. This guide is that machine, written out in order, with the numbers I actually got rather than the ones that would make me look better.

Who this is for

Someone who is happy to do the work but does not want to be the product. You might be shy, at school, or in a job where posting your face is awkward, or you might just have worked out that a faceless account is an asset you can sell and a personal brand is a job you can never quit. You need a phone, a free editing app and the willingness to post roughly a hundred times before anything works.

Three promises I'm not making

  • It won't be passive. A faceless account is a production line. The output is smaller than a vlog but the schedule is harsher, because consistency is the only edge you have when nobody is following a person.

  • It won't be fast. My account took about four months to get useful traction and around fourteen before it made real money. Anyone showing you a thirty-day screenshot is showing you the exception, or a lie.

  • It won't be permanent. My niche died. The game faded, my audience grew up, and an account with 63,000 followers ended up selling nothing for a year. Part 7 is about surviving that.

The monetisation ladder

Don't pick one. Climb them in order, each rung teaches you something you need for the next. The real numbers for every rung are in Part 06, not on this page.

Names redacted. Numbers aren't.

Faceless creators stay faceless, so these stay anonymous. Every one of them started with a dead account and a niche they weren't sure about.

"I'd been posting for a year with nothing. The niche test in Part 2 made me move my whole account in a weekend. Three months later I sold my first pack."
M████ K███Football edits, 17£1,240 in month 3
"The bit about sends being the whole game changed what I make. I stopped writing captions for followers and started writing them for the person who forwards it."
S███ ██████Study aesthetic, 200 to 41k followers
"I built the ladder in order instead of jumping straight to a course. The £9 template pack funded everything else and taught me how to actually sell."
████ R███Finance clips, 22£680/mo recurring
"Batching twelve posts in one sitting is the only reason I kept going. School weeks used to kill my consistency completely."
J██ ███████Gaming, 1612 posts a week, solo
